Alpine Car Stereos and Speakers Systems
Alpine was formed in 1967 in Tokyo, Japan, as a subsidiary of Alps Electric Corporation and was initially known as Alps-Motorola. The name was changed to Alpine in 1978 when Alps Electric Company bought out Motorolas share. Still based in Japan, Alpine produces a wide range of high quality in-car electrical equipment including amplifiers, subwoofers, CD stereo head units and speakers.
Alpine provides the audio entertainment systems and navigation systems for many prestigious brands such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover.
